More snowboarders go to Big White than any other SnowSkool resort. And why?! The go-to answer is to drone on about the plentiful light & fluffy powder that falls in bucketloads across the 3000 acres of skiable terrain in Big White. Skiers can say what they want but riders know that shreddin’ pow on a board is, simply, better. Big White’s sick park is also a factor – freestyle is such an intrinsic part of our sport that the list of park features is as important a mountain stat as any other.

But for sure another reason is Big White’s attitude - a relaxed vibe that taps into the psyche of snowboarders. Biggie is a cool local’s hill that cares not for the commercialisation that has spoilt places like Whistle-bollocks. Ok so Biggie doesn’t have a zipwire, five nightclubs and a shopping centre but we also don’t have three-hour lift lines at the weekends, $2000 season passes and slopes full of punters.
