We were wondering what snowskool instructor graduates were up to these days, and decided to run a little survey to see if we could find out.
Well, turns out they were keen to let us know and have been instructing all over the world!
This is the list of resorts that flooded our inbox in response to our enquiries:
Some graduates hadn't gone on to instruct but were still keen to share how the course had opened up new worlds for them.
- Going on to work as lift operators ('Lifities') is a popular way to continue enjoying seasons.
- Some graduates have used their new skills to teach friends and family how to ski.
- One happy graduate found love at SnowSkool and is engaged to a fellow graduate having met on the Big White course. Sweet. Congratulations!
- We heard of a graduate working as a freerider. We'll be following up to find out more about that for sure.
- Hostel work was also a popular way to continue working working seasons and shred the mountains.
- Another graduate reported 'No instructing but I'm now working on the marketing team at Snowbombing ski festival. Wouldn't have got the job without having done the SnowSkool course!' Looks fun!
- And others said they hadn't instructed but were still keen to let us know 'still the best thing I've ever done' and 'had an amazing time!!'
I think we are living up to our #bestdaysofyourlife strapline if this survey is anything to go by. Which is good to hear.
It was great to hear back from so many graduates and we hope to feature more inspiring individual stories as and when we have time to catch up a bit more.
