And just like that, we have finished week 3 of Snowskool!!
Week 3 was a jam packed week. After two weeks of tuition the students revelled at the opportunity to sit their BASI level 1 exams. With an intense schedule of 9am-4pm Monday to Thursday on the hill, the students responded extremely well to the long hours of assessment.
Congratulations!
to everyone who completed the course!!
Post exam activity on and off the slopes
Whilst no new snow has arrived in resort since the last fall, the extensive labyrinth of piste runs and a deep base has meant that the quality of skiing has remained high. On Thursday afternoon after exams, the students skied a victory lap over perfect Saulires on their way to aprés which was a great way to finish their level 1s.
After an afternoon serenaded by après musicians at Le Rond Point, the students were blessed with Beef bourguignon cooked by our lovely chalet staff.
Friday was a day off and the students either rested or made the most of the sunny conditions. Some students including Findlay and Ollie tackled the inflatable jump, practicing their jumps and flips whilst others resided to the chalets to drink tea, watch movies and just hang out.
On Friday evening, we celebrated completing the week with dinner at La Taverne followed by France vs Ireland in the rugby. Siobhan, Ella and Peter were very pleased with the result.
Next up
As week 3 has come to a close, we turn our attention to the next 5 weeks of preparation for level 2 exams. The Snowskoolers say Bring it on!!
