Tara and Matt won 3rd position in the Kelowna Cup in their skiing and snowboarding divisions respectively!
Teaching News
Both skiing and snowboarding groups are working hard on their Level 2 modules. We had a great session on Friday benefiting from three instructors for one group. And Alain, Big White skiing technical director is up for some free-skiing with the group this weekend, released from his Level 4 teaching. So lots of opportunity to take advantage of the top notch instruction as the students build up to their Level 2 exams.
Snow News
What a week for snow. We’ve had an amazing 45cm of fresh new powder overall. Visibility has varied over the week but the sun came out to play on Friday. some snowfall in the morning meant a fresh dusting of powder on the groomers to enjoy too. Making for a great way to see the weekend in.
All that fresh powder has given our feet and legs a good work out, duly rewarded by a delicious filling meal at the Globe on Friday evening.
Après News?
Yes, still lots of fun après post on-piste action. We began the week with a big fuelling meal at the BullWheel, took part in Tuesday karaoke night at Sam’s and enjoyed WhiteFoot Monopoly Games night.
Tildy and partner together with SnowSkool friends headed to a cabin in the woods one night to celebrate Tildy’s partner JJ’s birthday.
