New chalet accommodation in France!

You might have seen us harping on about it on social media, and in emails but, just in case you didn’t…

We have a new chalet for our instructor courses in France and it’s amazing!!!

One of the best things about doing a snowboard or ski instructor course in Europe, is that you tend to benefit from lovely, chalet-style accommodation as opposed to big blocks or hostels.

Chalet accommodation with SnowSkool

We make a huge effort to ensure the chalet accommodation on a SnowSkool course is extra special. All our chalets in Méribel are located just a short walk from all the shops, bars and restaurants and all bedrooms* have en-suites.

The great thing about chalets is that they have lovely, communal living-spaces, which is great for relaxing but also quickly bonds the group and builds a family-feel.

The final cherry on the chalet-cake is that you’re looked after by a chalet host. This is why past SnowSkoolers so often describe SnowSkool instructor courses as a catered-chalet-holiday-with-exams! The host will sort your breakfast and dinners on six days of the week. In the past, our chalet hosts have kept things interesting with themed-nights and will very happily take requests for your favourite grub.

Chalet Daurel is so lovely that it’s used for catered chalet holidays in the rest of the season when SnowSkool move out. It’s a renovated farm building with balconies, fireplace, and boot room with heated boot-warmers. If you’re looking for something typically Alpine, you can’t get any quainter than Daurel.

However, the chalet’s trump card is its location! It’s located in a great spot in the heart of Mussillon, approximately 400m from Méribel Centre, very close to the resort’s main supermarché and the resort’s go-to night spot: Sully’s Bar! You’ll be the envy of a lot of seasonnaires living here.
