Perhaps the best testament to our courses, is the success ex-SnowSkoolers have after they qualify. We spoke to past participants, about what they did next, where are they now and what advice they have to offer. Plenty became ski instructors or snowboard instructors, but a few have set up ski wear brands, work for snowboarding websites, and even working for SnowSkool!

A new chalet for our instructor courses in France
We have a new chalet for our instructor courses in France and it’s amazing!!!
One of the best things about doing a snowboard or ski instructor course in Europe, is the lovely, chalet-style accommodation. We make a huge effort to ensure our France accommodation is extra special. All our chalets in Méribel are located just a short walk from all the shops, bars and restaurants and all bedrooms have en-suites. Chalets' communal living-spaces are great for relaxing but also help to quickly bond the group.

The best things to do in New Zealand after an instructor course
Not only is an instructor course in New Zeland incredible in iteself, but all the other activities on offer in Cardrona, Wanaka, Queenstown and beyond, are what make an instructor course in New Zealand next level. For this reason, it’s a great idea to tack-on a bit of travelling and adventure to your ski-season in NZ.

Where can you ski in summer?
Summer skiing is more appealing than ever this year, as many of us missed out on a winter trip. To clarity what we mean by ‘summer’ skiing: the majority of the world’s most popular ski resorts are in the northern hemisphere. This means their winter (and ski-able season) falls between December-ish and April-ish. Some resorts at higher altitudes (often with glaciers) will have extended seasons... These seasons often reach into June/July (and beyond!), and that’s what we’re really excited about! This list is our pick of the most fun, summer skiing spots in Europe and the northern hemisphere.

Working from Home vs Working as a Ski Instructor
At SnowSkool, lockdown has left us with a bit more time on our hands and got us thinking about all the time we’re spending working from home. We started thinking about the differences between working from home in comparison to working in the office, which got us questioning what’s the best office space? Is it, the conventional office office, the home bedroom/kitchen office or the mountains office? Surely that’s a no brianer, the mountains… right?!
